Meet Katie

I got my start on computers when the Internet was still young and common use of websites and social media was just a concept. Little did I know that playing text based and limited graphics games and navigating the menu options through DOS was the beginning of a relationship with what goes on in a computer's "behind the scenes."
I began designing simple websites in my early teens, and intently explored new blogging websites and social media sites as they developed. After receiving my Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems from Anne Arundel Community College, I began working as a Webmaster Assistant. While with the Anne Arundel County Health Department, I helped to manage and maintain 4 different websites, redesigning and reorganizing a couple of them.
In June 2012, I opened Abundawonderful Designs, a multifaceted design business, to use my skills and experience to help busy small business owners take the complicated out of online presence. My goal is to help busy entrepreneurs develop and maintain client relationships through social media, functional and appealing websites, and other fun and interactive media, without having to take the focus off of what they really want to be doing - creating awesome new content and programs and interacting with customers and clients.
In addition to the Web design and online marketing of Abundawonderful Designs, some of my other hats include crochet artist, dog trainer to my Cocker Spaniel/Jack Russell (affectionately known as Willow the CockerJack), wife to an incredibly talented auto technician, writer of poetry and short stories.

Mission
To help busy small business owners take the complicated out of building an online presence. The goal of Abundawonderful Designs is to help busy entrepreneurs develop and maintain client relationships through social media, functional and appealing websites, and other interactive media.
One of my main goals in Web Design is to create a site that is both visually appealing and easy to use for the typical user. I work directly with you (as much or as little as you want, determined by which pricing option you choose) to make sure your voice gets heard through the site and help your clients and potential clients get excited about working with you.
